Our Senolytic Activator® combines black tea theaflavins, the plant-derived flavonoid apigenin, and ultra-absorbable forms of the bioflavonoids quercetin and fisetin to help support healthy aging.

Cellular senescence is a natural part of the aging process in which cells no longer function optimally. Senescent cells can accumulate over time, affecting the normal function of the healthy cells around them.

The body has natural pathways for clearing senescent cells, which allows healthy cells to flourish. A senolytic is a compound that promotes the body’s natural processes for clearing senescent cells.

Once-weekly formula

For those who aren’t keen on adding another supplement to their regimen, here’s the good news: Senolytic Activator® instructions call for taking just three vegetarian capsules, once a week. But what’s in it?

Theaflavins

Theaflavins are compounds derived from Camellia sinensis (tea plant).  Black tea theaflavins from tea are some of the compounds being studied for their effect on the healthy aging process at the cellular level.

Quercetin

Quercetin is well-known in healthy aging circles because of its endothelial, immune and cardiovascular health support properties. But quercetin is not easy to absorb. The quercetin in this formula is up to 62 times more bioavailable than unformulated quercetin, providing up to 18 times higher levels of free (unconjugated) quercetin.

Fisetin

Fisetin supports healthy aging. But much of the fisetin you ingest turns to various metabolites through the digestive process. Our Bio-Fisetin is up to 25 times more bioavailable than unformulated or standard form of fisetin.

Apigenin

Life Extension has identified apigenin, a natural flavonoid found in many fruits and vegetables, as a powerful addition to our Senolytic Activator® formula. This formula contains 50 mg of apigenin.
